The Steve Stuntz Experience
Here's
a little background: I was born a military
brat in Laundsthul, Germany in 1935. I was not
there long before my parents moved stateside to the
beautiful state of Colorado in 1936. Fast
forward through my childhood only pausing long
enough to say I was raised on music and my parents
encouraged me every step of the way. By the
age of 16 I was already playing gigthe front man, in
fact I began playing drums at five years old.
As time progressed I moved on and upwards with a variety of musicians and bands including Razzle Dazzle, Wish Doctor, Caught In The Act (CITA) which later became known as Guild of Ages. All of which I owe a great deal of gratitude to! I learned to play a variety of instruments with the help of the members of these bands. I gained the most amount of success with my friends in CITA/ Guild of Ages. With the help of Mr. Bobby Barth we went on to release five albums in the U.S., Europe, and Japan. We even got to experience the road life while touring Europe several times. Behind the scenes of my life sounds like a typical VH1 Behind The Music episode, ex wives, children (all of which I love dearly and unconditionally. I thank them for putting up with so much having a "Rock & Roll" dad). New beginnings, odd jobs, big breaks, big bumps, etc. etc.
At the beginning of the new millenium I decided to move to Las Vegas and began grinding my teeth as a front man with a group called The Vegas Players. I sang my first shows live on television with the local Fox network. Nothing makes you sing better or become more of an entertainer than live T.V. I spent nearly nine years in Vegas and learned an awful lot about the music industry. While still residing in Vegas I rejoined a former band member from Colorado. I started flying back and forth from Vegas to Colorado every other week to play shows around the Denver metro area. I eventually moved back. Again, fast forward. I have rejoined a few former band members to create a band called "The 7th Time". We now play regularly around Colorado. Behind the scenes in recent years, I have built a home studio where I write and record music. I find it to be peaceful, challenging, and relaxing. I am now working on a solo project for you all to enjoy. Thats all I got!
